Baby Bump Photo Session-31 weeks

This last weekend, Josh and I had our pictures taken by one of my best friends, Autumn, to capture the ever growing baby bump. Here we are at 31 weeks, only 9 more to go (8 after Thursday).

Autumn did a great job! These are just a snapshot of all the ones she took. I am so glad we took these so we can remember this special time. We couldn't be happier.

28 Weeks

Baby update: here are pictures of me at 28 weeks, which was actually almost 2 weeks ago. As of Thursday, I will be 30 weeks, and only 10 more to go! Aaahh!! I didn't realize till I posted these that I am wearing the same shirt as in the last pregnancy update picture. Oh well! It still fits, so that's a good thing.

We have just been busy getting the baby's room together. Look for pictures soon of the finished product.

My Parents' Surprise 40th Anniversary Party

Last month, we threw a surprise party for my parents' 40th anniversary. It was so hard to keep it a secret for so long, but we did and it was a huge hit. We told them we were just taking them out to dinner but blindfolded them to add a little bit more fun. We even had Bear sit in between them so they wouldn't peak. I was laughing the whole way to Lynn and Jim's house. I even think my poor dad was getting car sick. We didn't take the blindfolds off until they were right inside the door and and then everyone yelled surprise. They were shocked!

Theresa blew up a wedding picture and we played pin the mustache on Bert (since he didn't have one in the picture like he does now). It was hilarious! She made everyone be blindfolded, take a shot (except me), spin around and then try to put the mustache on Bert.

My mom had to wear the safety helmet just in case. You know how she can be accident prone!

These are just a few of the pictures I took that night. It was so much fun and my parents were truly surprised.

Garden

Josh and I decided to turn one of our side yards in to a garden this year. It has been awesome. I admit, Josh has done most (ok, all) of the work but I am trying to get out there to be more involved. I must say, I did spread the gravel that is on the walkway. We planted at ton of stuff just to see what would do best.

These were just some of the veggies I picked on Sunday. We're now trying to decide what to plant in the spots where some things didn't take off. I'm thinking strawberries, but we'll see.

An Update, Finally!!

So I figured it was about time to update this blog. I always say I am going to be better at updating it but somehow it just gets left behind. As most of you all know, we are having a little girl in November (which is just around the corner, ahhh!!!). Here are some pics of me at 20 weeks, half way point. Sorry they are a little blurry. I'm now 24 weeks and winding down to the end of my second trimester. I seriously do not know where the time goes.

Emily's Wedding

Last month one of my best friends, Emily, got married. She looked beautiful, the venue was beautiful, the flowers were beautiful, everything was perfect. We had a blast and was sad when the night was over. The pictures are in reverse order, but you get the idea. Congrats Emily & Bobby!
