Morgan's 30th Birthday in Vegas

My cousin, Morgan, turned 30 this year, so we headed to Vegas for a surprise birthday weekend. Everybody got in Friday night and headed over to the House of Blues for the Gary Allen concert. It was amazing. Saturday Kristen, Morgan's wife, threw a James Bond themed party that we all got dressed up for. We decorated a suite with James Bond decorations and they even put together a scavenger hunt in the casino. I am proud to say that Josh and I won. Both nights ended with Josh and I and all of my cousins walking to Buffalo Bill's casino to play $5 blackjack till 4 am. We even were able to meet up with Josh's aunt and uncle before they left to go back to South Dakota.

Thanksgiving

Josh had to work this Thanksgiving so I headed up to his fire station for a big Thanksgiving feast. It was really fun. Since he is at a task force station, there are 15 guys working on one shift, so with everybody's families, there was about 50 people for dinner. We had such a huge spread of food. Josh was on the truck that day, so he was lucky to only get one call the whole time I was there. After dinner, they got out the air rescue cushion and let the kids jump of the roof onto it. Josh even jumped off the hose tower and nearly gave me a heart attack. It was a great Thanksgiving.

Angela's Baby Shower

Yesterday was Angela's baby shower. Everything turned out perfectly. We had lots of snacks, brownies, candy, cake, played games, open presents, played with babies and just enjoyed each others company. Josh brought Matt over towards the end for presents so he could see what they had gotten for baby Katelynne too. The pictures are a little out of order but that's okay.

Now we just have to wait 4 more weeks for baby Katelynne to get here and we can spoil her some more. Can't wait!

The Races

So lately, Josh, my dad and I have been going to the Sprint car races at the Perris Auto Speedway. It is a fun, crazy, adrenaline pumping event that is fun to do on the weekends. It's also fun because we know who two of the drivers are. One is Blake Miller, who played hockey with my brother for a while, and the other is Mike Spencer, Alyson Spencer's brother. They are the top two in point leaders for this year (Mike is #1 and Blake is #2). There are a few more races for the year that we will hopefully be able to make. 

Halloween...Better late than Never

I figured I better post my pictures from Halloween before we enter the second half of November. Josh had to work this year on Halloween so I decided to go trick or treating with Autumn, Hunter, and Wyatt. We had so much fun. I had forgotten how much kids get excited about collecting candy. This year it was ridiculously warm on Halloween. Usually, kids have to bundle up to stay warm but definitely not this year. Here are the pictures to recap our fun evening.
