Godparents Again

Our good friends, Matt and Angela, are expecting their first baby! They are so excited and we couldn't be happier for them. They just found out on Wednesday after 5 positive pregnancy tests. The funny thing is Angela told everyone she was pregnant for April Fool's Day and then a week later found out she really was. They are going to be great parents and we can't wait to share all the excitement with them. They also surprised us by asking us to be their baby's godparents. We were so honored and told them "Of Course!"

We went to dinner with my parents on Saturday night and this is when they asked us to be Godparents.

Now we just have to wait 9 months to see their little bundle of joy. In the mean time, I can shop for things to spoil the baby with.

Party and Presents

So, my birthday week is official over (as of last Sunday) and I thought I should post this pictures before May comes around. Friday night before my BBQ, Josh had this surprise all rigged up for me. A couple of months ago, I had mentioned that I wanted a beach cruiser and he had remembered. He asked me to come out to the garage to help him carry somethings in to the apartment and lo and behold, this was awaiting for me.

These next few pictures are a little out of order. The first three are from when we went to Pechanga after the BBQ to play a little black jack. I must say I was not as lucky as last time, but at least I left being up $5. I can't say the same for everybody else :(

When it comes to birthdays, I am definitely a kid at heart. I love having a party and celebrating. It was such a fun day being with friends and family. A good ending to turning 25. 

My Birthday and World Autism Awareness Day

Today was my 25th birthday. Yikes! 25 already. I had a great day. I was able to rearrange my schedule so that I had most of the day off. I got a manicure and pedicure in the morning, then my mom took me shopping, and then I went to Macaroni Grill for dinner with my parents. Josh had to work but we are going to BBQ this weekend with everybody when Bear is in town from San Jose.  This picture was from last year. I will post pictures from this coming weekend. 

Also, today was officially made World Autism Awareness Day which I thought how fitting for it to be on my birthday since I am so passionate about it and love what I do. I was bummed when I found out that CNN had dedicated the day to programs and specials about Autism. If I would have known that, I would have done my paperwork at home rather than at the office. 

Rod Run

So. a couple of weeks ago in March, Josh and I went to the Rod Run in Old Town Temecula with Matt and Angela and some other friends from the Marine Corps. We had awesome weather and a really good time. I was shocked at how many people there were. Front Street was packed with people. I only posted a few pictures of the cars because I took a ton but it was taking forever to upload them all to the blog. I would label all the makes and models of the cars if I knew them, but I don't so you just have the pictures to look at. :)

Later when it was getting pretty warm, we stopped in to Texa's Lils to get something to drink.

Napa

So, I am finally back up and blogging. These pictures are from about a month ago when my mom and I went up to Vacaville for my cousin Chris' 30th birthday and then on to San Jose for Bear's 22nd birthday. Chris' parents planned an awesome wine tour through Napa with our own party bus and everything. It was so much fun.

So, you may have noticed that there are not any pictures from us visiting with Bear and Breanna. Let me explain. Later that night after the wine tour, Sandy and Mick had a great party for Chris with blackjack tables and everything. Well, later that night, my mom did not see the step in the backyard and completely landed on her shoulder. We spent the rest of the night in Vacaville's ER room and found out she has a broken arm. So long story short, we stopped by Bear's the next day to take him all his presents, cake, beer, and balloons and then headed home cutting our trip short. We felt terrible but my mom was in so much pain and just wanted to get home. So I promised Bear I would come up and visit for the whole weekend as soon as possible.

The Computer is HERE!!!

Finally, our new computer is here and it is WONDERFUL. Now that we are finally up and running, I should be able to get caught up on all of our events. But for tonight, you get one picture to tide you over till the next one. This is Buddy, my parrot cat. He loves to sit on my shoulders and I can totally walk around while is hanging out on my shoulder.

Sorry I have fallen so behind on all of our exciting events :) I actually do have a lot of things to post, there is only one little problem. I don't have a computer to use. Our's completely crashed yesterday so we are awaiting out new iMac to be delivered. I am very excited to get the new one, but I will miss my little, old DELL notebook and alot of my pictures and things that are on it still. So, bear with me for a few more days until the new one arrives. You may have to sit through a few posts without pictures until then since I am using my parents computer to write this.
